Under the responsibility of the Director of Talent and Culture, we are looking for someone like you to support the team in all aspects of human resources management.
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, based out of Head Office in Quebec City, Canada, this role plays a key role in delivering our people strategy and providing operational support to the business.
The P&C Business Partner is responsible for managing all day-to-day HR activities, proactively working with all areas of the business, and serving as a true business partner and key point of contact to the Management Team.
The role primarily supports the Sensor Networks business unit based in State College, PA, and will work closely with the global P&C team to provide effective solutions to the business.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within a dynamic company.
They will have a hands-on, practical, and applied involvement with day-to-day HR duties.
The candidate must also be able to actively contribute to the implementation of global P&C projects and to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to help achieve Company objectives.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Act as a business partner by working strategically with the leadership team, employees, and managers in a multi-site matrix work environment.
Advise and coach managers on best practices, internal policies, employment law and human resources management (employee engagement, talent management, recognition, disciplinary measures, absence management, etc.
) Support the development and implementation of global people & culture programs, policies, and procedures, including consultation, communication, and change management.
Work closely with other people & culture professionals globally on various projects.
Regularly monitor and report on talent & culture indicators and propose solutions adapted to the results.
Update the HRIS and generate reports as and when required e.

, statistics on Headcount, Absence, Overtime, Turnover etc.
Support managers with employee learning and development through appraisals, coaching and training programs to support employee development and business objectives.
Provide support with all recruitment, on-boarding, and talent acquisition campaigns for the Company.
Be the main point of contact with third-party relationships for the business, such as Occupational Health, Medical Cover, Employee Benefits, and the Employee Assistance Program.
Ensure all documents are kept up to date (training plans, handbook, contract of employment, etc.
) Promote best HR practice by challenging, directing, supporting, and influencing others within every department.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations situations, including conducting investigations when required.
Establish constant and regular reciprocal communication with its client groups.
Promote Eddyfi values and culture.
EDUCATION Degree in HR or equivalent experience HR certification an asset EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years in a HR Generalist position, including experience with talent management, legal compliance, changing management & working with an HRIS.
Experience providing HR support in a multi-site matrix work environment an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Experience with Ceridian / Dayforce an asset.
Working proficiency in French an asset.
