This executive level position is responsible for our ecommerce client?s initiative. As a strategic partner to the CEO, this person creates, executes, and optimizes web marketing programs that support their long term vision. This person will be accountable for positioning the company as a leader in web experience, while meeting aggressive sales and customer acquisition goals. Requires a data-driven person with entrepreneurial tendencies; a leader with equally strong analytical and creative abilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Proven track record in B2B e-commerce
Proven track record of turning data into successful strategic and tactical marketing plans
7 years? experience managing a web marketing team
In depth knowledge of evolving web technology and trends and how to apply it to business strategies
Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to translate customer trends/insights into successful marketing programs with a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to communicate with customers
Smart, adept, and conversant in communicating strategy and tactical updates to stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Partner with CEO to develop e-commerce strategy that aligns with corporate objectives
Manage the overall customer experience on the web (information architecture, UX, content strategy)
Assure data-driven execution by owning web analytics and determining key performance indicators that support corporate objectives
Lead analysts and marketing team through a cycle of testing new ideas, studying data, identifying problems and opportunities, and making tactical adjustments
Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of online web marketing strategies including SEO, PPC, PLA, emails, website promotions, etc.
Oversee the procurement of new web marketing technology (e-commerce, marketing automation, CRM, etc.)
Manage the ongoing development of our mobile web presence
Ensure website design is creatively appealing.
