Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager.
The company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in tghe State College, PA area.
This job will have the following
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for developing and directing support teams including Line Mechanics/Operators, Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planners, and the Storeroom team. The position requires working with Process Engineering, Production, Planning, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Project Engineering to provide efficiency, scrap, speed, and reliability improvements; new products and product improvements; and manufacturing cost and quality improvements.
Primary responsibilities include:
o Provides hands on, results-focused leadership and coaching for direct reports. Leads hiring, personnel assessments, and personnel development for assigned areas.
o Provides systemic measurement of equipment efficiency and reliability to establish improvement objectives using Preventive and Predictive maintenance practices.
o Provides oversight of Storeroom operations, overseeing initial parts stocking recommendations for new equipment, ensuring ongoing stocking of critical spare parts, and parts inventory cost management.
o Provides and manages expense budgetary planning, reporting and oversight for assigned area as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
o Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
o Ten years direct supervision of technical salaried and production personnel including budget responsibilities.
o Solid knowledge of TPM fundamentals and how to structure and drive continuous improvement for a Predictive and Preventative Maintenance program.
o Strong communicator, data driven, with strong service leadership skills in a production environment.
o Knowledge of MS Office, CMMS systems, and production reporting systems.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
