Our client a rapidly growing Fortune 200 Company with a diverse array of products is seeking a Value Stream Manager with a great deal of continuous improvement leadership for one of their businesses. The Value Stream Manager must understand functional departments that impact the work done and influence those departments to improve the value stream from suppliers of raw material to customers of finished product. The Value Stream Manager will provide technical knowledge and support of other departments to ensure effective and economical processes to produce quality products in accordance with all company objectives. This role will be responsible for continuous improvement facilitation and manufacturing process optimization efforts to achieve fab cycle time goals. This person will interface with various modules, in addition to yield, product and integration teams, to resolve issues that limit yield performance. This position will develop and improve the manufacturing process by understanding the products and manufacturing methods that will support safety, production, quality and reduced costs in manufacturing.
Summary:
Ability to technically support the areas or functions efficiently, cost effectively and with confidence.
Maintain an 'urgent' but controlled pace of activities in tackling issues and improvement initiatives using engineering techniques and new technology.
Lead implementation and ongoing improvement of systems for planning and people development ensuring SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity).
Exercises direct supervision over Production Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers with respect to production volume, cost and quality of production - meeting production schedules and delivery goals.
Effective and disciplined use of Daily Management to drive tactical execution relative to SQDIP.
Drive results on key metrics, effectively and proactively counter measuring misses.
Accountable for internal quality including the adherence to quality assurance processes.
Demonstrate ability to make rational decisions quickly and follow-through on deliverables.
Establish and build on a respectful relationship among manufacturing and other operations personnel.
Ability to coordinate activities of personnel of different functions and levels through leadership but without authority.
Communicate effectively in both written and oral format.

Description:
Develop and implement new methods and processes to reduce manufacturing cost and improve productivity, work environment and safety.
Plan and design systems and methods that increase productivity by improving integration between people, materials, and tools/equipment.
Identify and recommend tools, equipment, hardware and software for the production and verification of products.
Optimize the use of floor space, materials, personnel and equipment.
Perform root-cause analysis and provide solutions to address manufacturing and product problems/concerns.
Identify acceptable limits of critical parameters in manufacturing gates in collaboration with production.
Analyze and recommend changes to the workplace to improve ergonomics and work environment.
Develop and perform design of experiments and assist in process capability studies.
Review and/or prepare as well as approve engineering changes.
Help develop and recommend training material or programs to ensure equipment-operating competence, knowledge of job function and technical procedures, and meeting of specs.
Prepare capital asset and expenditures budget.
Perform failure analysis on field returns and respond to customer concerns/complaints.
Interface and provide responses to internal and external customer inquiries
Carry-out activities pertaining to product design (existing), product testing as well as product-line extensions.
Perform other duties as needed.

Accountabilities:
Provide strong level of engineering support to the assigned areas and functions.
Recommending solutions and/or options to technical issues pertaining to products and manufacturing processes and equipment. Recommendations must be accompanied by adequate information and justification to support a decision.
Completing actions and providing deliverables on projects and initiatives in a timely manner.
Offering quality solutions and recommendations on engineering-related activities.
Establishing a professional and respectable rapport among peers and project and department team members.
Communicating effectively (written and oral).
Compliance to SOPs, company policies including H&S and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree with minimum 3 yrs experience in similar field
Strong knowledge and background in manufacturing concepts such as Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, ISO, etc.
Proven track record in implementing, leading, and managing lean/six sigma concepts and strategies including Kanban systems
Experience working with employees to help drive significant results and improvements in business performance.
Experience with printed circuit board assembly and electronic assembly processes considered a plus.
Direct experience working in functions such as Engineering, Quality and Materials considered a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
